About the apartment
Apartment U parku is located in a quiet part of the historic city center. It offers pleasant accommodation for guests who want to discover the beauty of Písek while having a peaceful base for relaxation.
The apartment is located on the 1st floor of a historic house and has undergone a sensitive renovation, which preserved the character of the original space and added modern equipment for a comfortable stay.
The bedroom windows offer a view of the park in front of the house, while the kitchen overlooks the garden behind the house and the church tower, which completes the atmosphere of the historic center.
The apartment consists of two bedrooms, a kitchen with a large dining table, a bathroom with a shower, and a separate toilet. Everything needed for both short and long stays is prepared for guests.
You can reach the city center and the Otava River with a pleasant walk in approximately 5 minutes. In the vicinity, you will find restaurants, cafes, historical monuments, and popular walks along the river.
Your own bikes
Písek and its surroundings are beautiful for cycling trips. If you bring your own bikes, we will be happy to find a suitable place to store them upon prior arrangement — for example, in the garden or under the roof in the garden pergola.
This is not a guarded storage facility, but a practical option so that bikes do not have to stay in the car or outside in front of the house.
Please let us know in advance that you will be arriving with bikes so that we can prepare a suitable place for them.
Pets
By prior arrangement, well-behaved and clean pets are also welcome.
We ask for consideration for the apartment’s furnishings, other residents of the house, and the garden. Please always keep your pet under supervision in common areas, as other four-legged friends also live in the house. Please clean up excrement after spending time outside. Pets should not sleep in beds or stay in the apartment unsupervised if they could damage anything.
The guest is responsible for any damages.
Small grocery shopping before arrival
We want to make your stay as pleasant and simple as possible.
If it would be convenient for you to have a small grocery shop ready in the fridge upon arrival — for example, something for breakfast or basic food items — you can arrange this with us in advance.
You order and pay for the shopping yourself through a selected delivery service (e.g., Rohlík) to the apartment address. If it is within our time possibilities, we will be happy to receive it and put it in the fridge before your arrival.

Assistance upon arrival, departure, or in case of emergency
If you encounter an unexpected situation during your stay — for example, transport difficulties or the need for a quick move around Písek — you can try to contact us.
We do not provide this assistance as a standard service and cannot always guarantee it. However, if it is within our power and time possibilities, we will try to help — for example, with a lift to the station, to the doctor, or with a practical situation that needs to be resolved quickly.
Assistance is only possible by prior arrangement and according to our current possibilities.
